Circularly polarized scalar induced gravitational waves from the Chern-Simons modified gravity

Abstract We investigate the scalar induced gravitational waves (SIGWs) in Chern-Simons (CS) modified gravity during radiation dominated era. The SIGWs are circularly polarized, which provide us a tool to test possible parity violation early universe. derive semianalytic expressions evaluate fractional energy density of SIGWs, Ω GW , receives contributions from general relativity (GR) and correction due parity-violating term, respectively. find that degree circular polarization can be as large order unity, although contribution CS term is at most same GR.
